PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated 10/24/26

This policy explains what information heycalico.com collects, how Calico uses it, and the choices you have, including how to opt out of advertising. Questions go to howdy@heycalico.com.

1. Information you give us. When you send an enquiry, request a quote, download a guide or email us, we collect what you provide: name, company, email, phone, project details and any files you attach. We use it to reply, prepare quotes, deliver work and keep business records.

2. Information collected automatically. This site uses cookies and similar tags to understand how it is used and to measure advertising. These include Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram). They may collect your IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, the link or ad that brought you here, and whether you submitted a form.

3. Advertising and retargeting. We use the Google and Meta tags to see which ads lead to enquiries and to show Calico ads to people who have visited this site or engaged with our Instagram. Google and Meta process this data under their own privacy policies. Under California law, sharing this information for cross-context behavioral advertising can count as sharing personal information. We do not sell personal information for money.

4. Email. If you join our list or request a guide, we send occasional project and studio emails through Klaviyo. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

5. Your Privacy Choices. You can opt out of sharing for cross-context advertising at any time. Turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser: when your browser sends a GPC signal, our Meta advertising pixel does not load. You can also email howdy@heycalico.com with the subject line Do Not Sell or Share and we will exclude your information from advertising audiences. To limit ad personalization directly, use Google My Ad Center and the ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings, or block third-party cookies in your browser.

6. Your rights. California residents may ask to know, correct or delete the personal information we hold about them, and to opt out of sharing. Email howdy@heycalico.com. We will verify the request and respond within 45 days, and we will not treat you differently for using these rights.

7. Retention and security. We keep project and contact information as long as needed for the work, our records and legal requirements, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it.

8. Children. This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes. We will post any changes here and update the date at the top of this page.
